Will Sessions, A Detroit live instrument collective have been on the scene for a couple years now recording/performing tracks with the likes of Slum Village, Mayer Hawthorne, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson and Phat Kat, but it wasn’t until earlier this year when they produced Elzhi‘s incredible remake of the classic Illmatic, titled Elmatic, that they reached a larger national and global audience. Following on from the critical acclaim the album attracted, they are set to release their own album this week, but in the meantime you can get this free 10 track album, Real Sessions, with live recordings from shows with the 8-piece band recreating beats from Madlib, J Dilla, Black Milk, Mr. Porter, and Nick Speed.
